Announcement To End Oprah Show Video: Oprah Calling It Quits.

Oprah Winfrey's Tearful Goodbye

That’s right, Oprah Winfrey announced on her Friday show that she will be ending the soon to be 25th year show on the 25th anniversary next season.  Oprah was very emotional and choked up as she announce to her full audience that it was true she is ending the Oprah Winfrey Show. Oprah Winfrey Video:

Some of the audience members as well as myself welled up in tears as Oprah choked back tears as she announce her final goodbye.  For me it was more than just a talk show it was my past a part of my childhood.  I remember when it wasn’t Oprah’s show.

But she hosted a talk show that could be placed in a catagory  as an old “maury”, Jenny jones” type talk show.  But what made Oprah stand out was I believe she evolved and matured she decided always doing ” digging up dirt” talk shows wasn’t what she was all about.

Oprah tried her hand at many things as she evolved she did some acting and later bought the show that did become the Oprah Winfrey show in 1986.  Ms Winfrey was then able to change and shape the show in ways that she wanted. One that I really enjoyed was her “Angel Network”

And as long as her show has been on the network and the following she has had. Proves it was all for the better and Ms Winfrey didn’t do so bad for herself, now being almost or possibly a billionaire.

I just want to say thank you Oprah for the 25 year run, thank you for sometimes going where no others would dare go “mississippi” lol and for the many celebrity interviews. I’m so thankful you interviewed Michael Jackson. It was the best interview that I believe he ever had.

But Oprah can still be seen on her new network she is launching in 2011 called “OWN” Oprah Winfrey Network.  It will be different projects with the Oprah Winfrey feel:)

I can speak for myself in saying ” The Oprah Winfrey Show” was a wonderful entertaining addition to my morning. Sometimes funny, shocking and tearful but all were worth while. Thank you for everything.
